Over the past year of searching for indoor playgrounds for toddlers under 3 in Singapore, I’ve realised that many indoor play spaces just aren’t built with babies and young toddlers in mind. After going through countless lists online, I’d say less than a handful of the many indoor playgrounds in Singapore are truly suitable for the little ones. Why? Many are designed for older kids. With towering climbing structures, risky features, or chaotic crowds that can easily overwhelm younger toddlers and babies.
That’s exactly why I’ve put together this specifically curated list of baby and toddler playgrounds in Singapore. Based on the places we’ve personally visited and reviewed. These are safer, softer, and calmer environments where your LO (babies, early walkers, and active tots) can crawl, explore, or run freely among kids their size.
Note: We are NOT sponsored/affiliated in any way with the indoor spaces listed below. Only honest reviews from a regular toddler parent here.
What Makes a Good Playground for Toddlers Under 3?
If you’re a fellow mum of a child under 3, you’ll know that not every playground is made for our little ones. Many are way too overstimulating, too chaotic with older kids zooming around, or simply not age-appropriate (sorry but those high climbing structures give me anxiety).
Here’s what I personally look out for when shortlisting indoor playgrounds for my 2 YO toddler:
Toddler-specific zones – I always check if the playground has a dedicated baby/toddler area — ideally padded, low-height, and with sensory or pretend play features.
Cleanliness – Because they WILL lick the ball pit or put something in their mouth. If it looks too grimy, we’re not coming back.
Calmer crowd – Crowded playgrounds that are always packed with big kids tend to be too chaotic and unsafe. That’s why I prefer places that are target the younger crowd.
Facilities nearby – Diaper-changing rooms, nursing rooms, and food options nearby are a huge plus. Especially when you’re out solo with a baby or toddler.
That’s not a lot to ask for, right?
A Curated List of Indoor Playgrounds for Toddlers Under 3 in Singapore
After trying out multiple spots across the island, here are our top picks for baby and toddler playgrounds in Singapore. Specifically those that are safe, engaging, and age-appropriate for little ones aged 1 to 3 years old.
These were all personally visited and reviewed by me (a slightly paranoid IVF mummy of a now 26-month-old toddler), so you can trust that I’ve considered MANY things.
Best playgrounds for 0 to 3 year olds in Singapore (In my toddler’s opinion & mine too!)
Kidztropic Cove (Havelock) – Visited >5 times
Kidztropic Cove is a calm, baby-friendly indoor playground perfect for toddlers under 3. It offers plenty of soft play, pretend play corners, ride-on toys, and toddler-height play stations that make exploration safe and fun. Compared to the neighbouring Waka Waka, which caters more to older kids, Kidztropic Cove feels much more relaxed and safer for little ones – trust me the difference is STARK! The dedicated padded soft areas are ideal for pre-crawlers and crawlers, while standing-height play stations keep early walkers and confident walkers engaged.
My little girl has truly explored everything there is to offer there and still enjoys her time there every time. Her all time favourites? The little slide corner, vehicle mats, and pretend play market and kitchens. We’ve been there for Ms Nat’s Playschool held there every Wednesday – and would recommend that too!
Bonus: the space is protected by Airtumtec coating, adding an extra layer of cleanliness and safety that I really appreciate!

Little Play Social (Katong) – Visited 2 times
Little Play Social is a simple curated indoor play space designed specifically for little humans aged 0 to 3 years. The environment is calm and thoughtfully curated with open-ended toys, a felt wall, pretend play marketplace, a Pikler slide setup, cardboard structures, books, and music instruments — ideal for babies, crawlers, and early walkers to discover, explore, imagine, and create in a safe, cozy setting.
Other than drop-in 2-hourly free play sessions, they also offer a variety of programs catered for little ones within the play space which you can enjoy on top of a play session:
- Baby Wellness Session
- Babies Books Club
- Music and Movement
- Classical Music for Babies
To be clear, we’ve only been for their Classical Music sessions twice (and definitely returning for more because my LO loves it). The sessions include some free play time before that but we have not gone specifically for just play time.
Important to note: Access is via a walk-up (no elevator), so would suggest to carrier instead of bringing a stroller. Nearby street parking might be hard, but i12 mall is just opposite!

Joy of Toys (Clarke Quay) – Visited 2 times
Joy of Toys offers a calm, baby-friendly indoor playground perfect for toddlers under 3. The space is divided into three main areas: the Toddler Play Space, the Main Play Space, and a Riding Room. The Toddler Play Space in particular, is dedicated to children under 3 and features a variety of open-ended toys, including a mini play kitchen, dolls, wooden pull-along toys, puzzles, and more. The area is fully equipped with foam-padded play mats, ensuring a safe environment for crawling babies and toddlers learning to walk.
The Main Play Space, from what I’ve seen is suitable for older children, includes structured play zones with developmental toys and puzzles, as well as open-ended play areas like a life-sized dollhouse, mini café, and cake shop. We’re thinking of heading back to try this space as we’ve only been to the Toddler Play Space before.
I particularly like their crowd meter feature on their website which lets you see how crowded the space is before deciding if you want to head over!

- Babies (Pre-crawlers) – Yes
- Babies (Crawlers) – Yes
- Toddlers (Walking) – Yes

Important: Take note as they have a list of additional peak days on top of weekends. See here!

PIP’s PLAYbox (@ Esplanade, Level 4) – Visited 2 times

PIP’s PLAYbox is a cosy little haven for kids, tucked away inside the Esplanade — so well-hidden that it took me a good 20 minutes to find on my first visit! (Directions here!) Weekdays are usually quiet here, making it perfect for toddlers under 3. Inside, you’ll find colourful murals, snug reading corners, little pockets with toys, a craft and colouring table (craft kits available for a small donation), and even a whimsical “treehouse” loft.
For toddlers who love exploring, the adjacent outdoor area has grass patches and open space to run around — a perfect break if your little one gets tired of being indoors.
Do note: The space closes briefly for cleaning around 2–3 PM daily, and pre-registration online is required for all visitors, but QR code check-in is usually quick. Stroller parking is available outside, and shoes-off is required indoors (which keeps it nice and clean for crawling babies).
Suitable for:
- Babies (Pre-crawlers) – Yes
- Babies (Crawlers) – Yes
- Toddlers (Walking) – Yes (Might be more boring for the older ones though)
Indoor Playground Price:
Entry is free — you’ll just need to sign up for the free Esplanade&Me Discover membership before you visit. All visitors (including infants in arm) need to be registered.

The Artground – A Curious Garden (One Holland V) – Visited 1 time
A whimsical indoor garden-themed play space that’s part art installation, part gentle playground. Designed to look like a magical garden, it features oversized mushrooms, a wooden treehouse, soft grassy carpeting, a foam pit, tunnels, and sensory corners for babies and toddlers to explore at their own pace. We went on a weekday and had the place almost all to ourselves — calm, spacious and thoughtfully designed for free play.
While it’s a lovely space for babies and younger toddlers, it is relatively small and doesn’t have the usual variety of toys you might find at other indoor playgrounds. More independent toddlers (aged 2+) might explore everything pretty quickly. I would have visited more if it was nearer my place, but alas.
Suitable for:
- Babies (Pre-crawlers) – Yes
- Babies (Crawlers) – Yes
- Toddlers (Walking) – Yes

Best to pre-book tickets as they have specific time slots.

More Baby Friendly Indoor Play Spaces in Singapore
Kiztopia Prestige @ New Bahru – Visited 1 time

Kiztopia Prestige is the more upscale, boutique spin-off of the well-known Kiztopia indoor playground, designed with toddlers and preschoolers in mind. However, when we visited with my then 1-year-old (and another 1-year-old friend with a 3 year old sister) on a weekend, the experience leaned a little on the chaotic side. While there’s no shortage of toddler-friendly zones — think cushioned climbing structures, mini slides, interactive walls, and entire pretend play setups — the space was bustling with older kids zipping through, which made it harder for early walkers to roam freely and safely.
That said, I can imagine this being a much more relaxed and enjoyable space on a quieter weekday. They also run a variety of regular classes, from sensory play to Mandarin playgroups, for little ones under 3. I’m hoping to pop by again soon with my now 2-year-old for a fresh take on the experience!

Little Bear’s House (Serangoon) – Visited 1 time

Little Bear Playhouse is an indoor playground nestled in Serangoon, offering a variety of play zones for young kids. Before their recent refresh (early 2025), the space featured a huge pretend kitchen and grocery setup in the main area, little tables and chairs for kids to bring toys to, busy boards, a train set table, and jungle-gym-like structures in the back. The playground is spacious with many different toys that appeal to a range of interests and ages.
One thing I really liked about the space was that it wasn’t too crowded even on the weekend when I went.
Note: I’ve not been back since their recent refresh, but will update this if I do!
Suitable for:
- Babies (Pre-crawlers) – No (They accept only babies > 9 months old)
- Babies (Crawlers) – Not sure (I’m not too sure what has changed during the refresh)
- Toddlers (Walking) – Yes

Pirate Land @ The Centrepoint Orchard – Visited 1 time

PirateLand is an indoor playground conveniently located in Orchard Centrepoint, featuring various play zones. This includes a dedicated area for toy vehicles, a pretend kitchen, a dollhouse corner, ride-ons, LEGO foam blocks, a ball pit, trampolines, and a slide suitable for little ones. The indoor play space is spread over two storeys, with interactive walls, blocks, and more on the upper level. However, this can feel a bit cramped for taller adults accompanying your child. There’s also a separate padded soft play area designed specifically for younger kids.
When we visited on a weekday for a Muckpups class held in their party room, the place was not too crowded. Something to consider: Attending one of the enrichment classes held on-site, because these usually include some free playtime.
One thing I do hope the management could improve on, would be to maintain the overall setup, because several interactive features were broken during our visit.
Suitable for:
- Babies (Pre-crawlers) – Yes
- Babies (Crawlers) – Yes
- Toddlers (Walking) – Yes

Better Play (Katong)
A Montessori-inspired indoor play space, designed for children aged six months to six years. The space features a wide variety of high-quality sensorial toys and activities that encourage imaginative play, focused engagement, and social interaction.

Riri’s Children Playloft (Thomson)
A charming new indoor play area and toy collection that focuses on calm, thoughtful play experiences. The space includes handcrafted wooden toy museum, a make-believe campsite, and an area with shadow and light play to inspire creativity and imagination.
On the website it states that it’s best enjoyed by children aged 2 to 10. Though younger kids are welcome with a caregiver. I’m excited to check it out soon to see if it suits younger kids too. Bonus: it’s close to the popular Thomson food scene, which is great for foodie parents like me!

Things to Take Note for First-Timers at Indoor Playgrounds
If it’s your first time bringing your little on to an indoor playground in Singapore, here are some tips to take note of!
- Bring socks for everyone — Most indoor playgrounds require socks for both kids and adults, and buying them on-site can be expensive. It’s easier and cheaper to bring your own.
- Carry a sanitizer spray — To keep hands and play surfaces clean, especially when you’re out with little ones.
- Bring snacks and drinks — After playing, toddlers get hungry quickly. Have milk, snacks, or a small meal ready to keep them happy.
- Check ahead before booking — Always confirm online if the playground is open and not closed for private parties or maintenance. You don’t want to make the trip only to find it unavailable.
- Check pricing and session length — Prices often vary between weekdays and weekends, and the ticket usually covers a limited playtime. Some places also have different peak periods, so check the details before you go.
And that’s all the tips I have for you! I hope this curated list helps you find safe, fun, and calm spaces where your little ones can explore and play without feeling overwhelmed. If you’ve been to any of these spots or have your own favourites, do share your experiences in the comments below— I would love to hear from you. Happy playing and stay safe out there!
